Established in 2011, we started as Botanosys Laboratories. The plant set about 10 miles outside the historical city of Bikaner (Rajasthan, India) started to manufacture botanical extracts for companies producing Ayurvedic drugs and Dietary supplements in India.
Very soon, Dolcas Botanosys became synonymous with superior quality and top-notch service and started acquiring attention from bigger players looking for reliable partners in manufacturing and sourcing. Very soon, without exception most Pharma ingredient and Nutraceutical companies were doing business with us.
2017 turned out to be an important year. Dolcas LLC, based out of NJ, a respected well -known player in branded ingredients and natural products, alongwith Dolphin Group, India’s largest exporter of Castor Oil joined hands with us in a mutual promise to take the company to the next level by scientific research to create gen-next health ingredients. We rechristened ourselves as Dolcas Botanosys Pvt. Ltd. and got busy in building what is today one of India’s finest and most auditable natural ingredient manufacturing facilities.
With cutting edge manufacturing unit and R&D set-up spread over 5 acres of pristine, pollution free environs, a team of dedicated scientists and professionals manage the operations and research to generate path-breaking ideas, raising the bar on innovation and quality every single day!
Dolcas Botanosys is proud of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in pristine, pollution-free environment about 20 Kms from Bikaner. The cGMP compliant plant, with some of the most modern and sophisticated equipments in place can process more than 1200 Tonnes of raw herbs every year to make superior-quality standardized herbal extracts.
The entire journey from raw material to finished extract is carefully monitored with quality checks at regular intervals and high levels of sanitization and safety are observed at all times to prevent cross-contamination. A team of highly trained and experienced professionals oversees the entire manufacturing process which, being automated and SOP driven ensures that the final product matches customer specifications dot-for-dot.
Dolcas Botanosys benefits from its strong ties with farmers, wild-crafters, collectors and vendors of herbs and spices, often deep in India’s hinterland and many of whom are in this business for generations.
A robust system of validation ensures that the best quality raw material, sourced from the right geographical area and picked at the right time goes into the making of our product.
In consistency with our transparent policy, we organise training sessions to educate our sourcing partners on aspects of identification, adulteration, packing, storage and transportation to further augment our sustainable and reliable supply chain.

A unique Whirlpool Extraction system, short contact distillation pathway, nitrogen assisted filteration, and ultra-sonic micronisation are only some of the technologies we employ to make sure our extracts are higher in actives, lower in solvent residues, void of any impurities and close to nature

In 2017, we launched the Thin Layer Chromatography Handbook of Indian Botanicals which has since then become a regular reference book in Phyto labs around the country. Now, Dolcas Botanosys prides itself in being the first company from India to ensure allignment to USFDA’s movement for DNA Barcoding by tying-up with Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India.
Raw herbs meant for our extracts and powders are routinely sent for identification by DNA fingerprinting and our subsequent traceability programme, replete with HPTLC and TLC assure onlythe requisite plant species are picked for production.
We consider Quality our foremost strength and engage a formidable team of QC analysts, technicians and experts to spearhead our efforts in the lab. Our in house laboratory is fully equipped with the latest scientific tools like HPLC and UV-Spectrophotometer to test, validate and standardize our herbal extracts for pin-point accuracy and purity.
